This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings by performing various cleaning duties. Duties and hours may vary depending on the size of the building and the number of teammates. This is a part-time position with 15 total hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Requirements
- Reports to work each day and on time.
- Works extra hours when needed.
- Complies with proper safety policies and procedures (e.g., when using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents).
- Determines the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Employees working in medical facilities are required to wear a mask and gloves during the entirety of their shift.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. in restrooms and replenishes supplies.
- Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. May also be responsible for scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
- Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc. in break rooms/kitchenettes and replenishes supplies.
- Dusts furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
- Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner.
- Washes walls and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.
