About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Glascock County, Georgia, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will conduct brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. The position emphasizes autonomy, allowing you to manage your own routing, schedule, and territory. Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site, and you can expect stable, month-to-month volume in your assigned county. This role involves significant driving in a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops, making a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads valuable.

Requirements

Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
