About The Position
FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Lancaster County, Virginia, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on a flexible schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will conduct brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. The job involves determining property occupancy status, capturing photos, and submitting reports using mobile applications. This role requires significant driving within a rural county with longer distances between stops, making a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads valuable.
Requirements
- Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
- Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
- Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
- Live in or near Kilmarnock or anywhere in Lancaster County.

Responsibilities
