About The Position

We are seeking team members to join our crews for the upcoming construction season, which begins in early spring 2026. Pirc-Tobin Construction is seeking individuals to join our project crews in Des Moines, IA, starting in early spring 2026. Our pipe crews work on infrastructure projects to install new water, sanitary sewer, and wastewater piping, along with grading and demolition work for these projects. Applicant must pass a physical ability and drug test prior to working. We need individuals who are true TEAM players, who have a positive attitude, and are flexible. Requirements

Must pass a physical ability and drug test prior to working

Responsibilities

Lift and carry 20-75 lbs regularly
Learn and follow safety standards
Field training on hand tools, cordless tools, and lasers
Daily transportation to project sites
Open to training in all avenues of utility installation
Open to entry-level training on the operation of rollers, skid loaders, and other construction equipment
