About The Position

United Protective Services is seeking a dependable and experienced Field Training Officer to support security operations across multiple client locations. This is an active field position for a strong leader who can train officers, conduct inspections, respond to operational needs, and maintain high standards of professionalism and service. The Field Training Officer will lead in the field, train officers, and support operations.

Requirements

Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to travel between multiple client locations throughout the shift.
Drivers License
Over the age of 25 (Insurance Requirement)

Responsibilities

Begin and end each shift at the Houston branch office.
Drive a company vehicle to multiple client locations.
Conduct site, post, uniform, and officer inspections.
Train, coach, and mentor new and existing Security Officers.
Ensure officers follow post orders, client requirements, and company policies.
Respond to incidents and provide field support to officers.
Assist with officer call-offs and help coordinate coverage.
Address performance and attendance concerns in accordance with company policy.
Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and inspection documentation.
Maintain professional relationships with officers, clients, and the public.
Assist with fueling and basic maintenance of company vehicles.
