About The Position

This role is responsible for delivering foundational and advanced training programs tailored to Market Access & Reimbursement (MA&R) and Key Account Management field teams. The Field Training Lead will elevate specialized capabilities across commercial teams, focusing on access, reimbursement, and advanced account management effectiveness. This position involves leading the execution of large group and targeted training sessions with support from senior training managers, applying business knowledge to define learning priorities in partnership with stakeholders, and driving the implementation of scalable learning experiences that support field execution goals. The role ensures training aligns with commercialization strategy and evolving payer/access needs, collaborating with US Commercial Learning and cross-functional teams to align training plans with product timelines and access milestones. It also ensures consistency across global commercial learning initiatives and integrates access-focused training priorities. The Field Training Lead will assess field needs and translate them into actionable training solutions, serving as the key point of contact for training coordination, agency communication, and stakeholder alignment. Additionally, the role supports organizational performance through improved leadership, coaching, and executional excellence, manages training delivery timelines, ensures adherence to internal standards and SOPs, and oversees training logistics and broader learning operations, including diversity and inclusion initiatives where relevant. A key responsibility is to facilitate at least one in-person training session during the contract period.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in training roles within pharma/biotech.
  • 7–10 years of commercial industry experience, preferably in Market Access, Payer, or Key Account Management.
  • Experience in training delivery, strategic learning execution, and launch readiness.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work within matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Ability to lead through change and ambiguity.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience in rare disease or specialty therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with Field Access Portals or related market access systems.
  • Experience in adult learning and global training integration best practices.
