The Field Thermal Carpenter will be responsible for various tasks on the construction site, including arriving early to start work, loading and unloading materials, and collaborating with skilled workers and team members. This role involves performing hard labor necessary for construction projects, such as installing insulated metal panels, floor insulation, and cold storage doors and equipment. The carpenter will also be expected to demonstrate knowledge of tool usage, maintenance, and safe operation of equipment like hoists and cranes. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle manual tasks, while always practicing safe work habits. OSHA training is a plus. Physical stamina, availability for extended hours, and caution to avoid injury are essential. Knowledge of and ability to work with powered construction tools are also required.
