About The Position

Responsible for product testing to validate product performance, identify issues, and ensure systems meet quality and reliability standards. This role is a QA Engineer with experience in Android testing, specifically focused on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth validation. The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $52,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications. Requirements

  • 1 + years of QA experience in Android/mobile testing
  • Strong hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth testing
  • Understanding of wireless networking concepts (SSID, WPA2/WPA3, roaming, throughput, latency)
  • Experience with Bluetooth profiles (A2DP, HFP, GATT, etc.)
  • Proficiency with debugging tools such as ADB and log analysis
  • Experience writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports
  • Bachelor of Science in related engineering major (EE, CE, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and test cases for Android-based devices with a focus on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on wireless connectivity features
  • Validate Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth standards (BLE, Classic)
  • Conduct interoperability testing with routers, access points, headsets, wearables, and other connected devices
  • Analyze logs using tools such as ADB, Wireshark, and Android logcat to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and hardware teams to ensure high-quality releases
