Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in using hand and power tools
• 3-5 years of commercial coiling overhead door installation and repairs
• Stick welding experience
• Ability to install edge of docks and weld on bumpers
• Electrical experience with installing motor operators and gate operators
• Ability to run floor loops
• Ability to troubleshoot high speed doors
• Experience using hoists or cranes to handle steel coils
• Knowledge of 18-to-24-gauge sheet metal properties and safe handling practices
• Ability to read drawings and use basic measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Ability to climb extension ladders
• Experience with safe operation of scissor lift and forklift

• Training/certification for hoists or cranes
