About The Position

Are you ready to take your technical skills on the road and support large‑scale industrial installation projects across the country? As a Field Tradesperson, you’ll perform hands‑on work across multiple trades — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general construction — while representing EST at customer sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with their hands, traveling frequently, and being part of a project team that delivers high‑impact equipment installations. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant trade or technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with standard hand tools and test instruments.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, self‑motivated, and able to work under pressure.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel extensively (100%) and work extended hours.
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain military base access and other required credentials.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally; ability to work in demanding physical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install industrial equipment and project components at customer sites across the U.S.
  • Perform tasks across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, concrete, and general construction.
  • Prepare tools, parts, and materials before travel; support site prep and material handling.
  • Assemble, modify, and fabricate components as needed for project completion.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues using schematics, manuals, test instruments, and remote guidance.
  • Support equipment start‑up, testing, and customer training.
  • Work closely with EST supervisors, technicians, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Submit accurate expense reports, project updates, and inventory logs.
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles.
  • Follow all EST safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Mentor and train EST personnel as assigned.
  • Train customer employees on equipment when required.
  • Operate forklifts, manlifts, excavators, concrete saws, demolition tools, and other construction equipment.
