About The Position
This is a full-time position located at the South Charleston Terminal in South Charleston, WV. The Field Technician will assist the blaster in charge with wiring of shots, load holes using blend trucks and equipment, and perform routine maintenance on trucks and equipment. Safety is a top priority, and the technician will be responsible for their own safety and the safety of those around them.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Assist blaster in charge with wiring of shot.
- Loads holes using blend truck and blend truck pumps and equipment.
- Checks trucks for any needed maintenance.
- Performs minor routine maintenance on truck and equipment.
- Loads trucks with product.
- Prepares holes to receive product.
- Operates Bobcat stemming holes.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner, being responsible for the safety of yourself and the employees around you.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Company.
- Operates following equipment: Blend trucks, Bobcat.
