About The Position
We’re looking for a dependable, skilled Field Technician to support interior and exterior property upkeep across multiple sites. This is a full-time, first-shift position requiring the use of a company vehicle to travel between properties. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining curb appeal, cleanliness, safety, and overall resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with residents of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report
Nice To Haves
- Prior Field Technician, Porter, or Grounds experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain exterior grounds and common areas to Uptown’s high standards
- Trash management, including compactor use and moving bins on scheduled days
- Litter removal in exterior and interior common areas
- Gutter cleaning, leaf blowing, pet station maintenance
- Snow removal and salting walkways during winter weather
- Complete daily work orders efficiently using an iPhone-based system
- Track property conditions and report new service issues
- Support large projects and assist with moving furniture, appliances, and materials
- Respond to emergency weather events to ensure resident safety
- Address interruptions and unplanned needs
- Support team goals and assist with additional tasks as assigned
