About The Position

The Field Technician is responsible for operational duties such as inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of equipment to ensure safe and reliable pipeline operations. This work includes activities such as running pipeline cleaners, ROW maintenance, and DOT pipeline compliance. Employee(s) in this position will have environmental and safety activities associated with their responsibilities. This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. Requirements

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Conducts pipeline pigging, hydrate management, etc.
  • Responsible for startup and shut down of pipelines during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Maintains pipeline ROW such as markers, signs, and vegetation exposures.
  • Assists in One-Call - Pipeline Locating, encroachment, excavation & Crossings
  • Maintains records in accordance with Pipeline regulatory requirement.
  • Maintains records in accordance with environmental compliance requirements.
  • Performs maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, manual valve actuators, various types of pumps and injection systems.
  • Performs work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to navigate through various software programs associated with I-pads, mobile phones or laptop computers.
