Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
3–5 years of experience in using hand and power tools
3-5 years of commercial coiling overhead door installation and repairs
Stick welding experience
Ability to install edge of docks and weld on bumpers
Electrical experience with installing motor operators and gate operators
Ability to run floor loops
Ability to troubleshoot high speed doors
Experience using hoists or cranes to handle steel coils (training/certification a plus).
Knowledge of 18-to-24-gauge sheet metal properties and safe handling practices.
Ability to read drawings and use basic measurement tools.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Ability to climb extension ladders
Experience with safe operation of scissor lift and forklift
