About The Position
Allied Technical Services is hiring a dependable, mechanically inclined Field Technician / Equipment Technician. If you enjoy hands-on work, like working with tools and equipment, and want a long-term career outside of an office environment, this could be a great fit. No pump industry experience is required. We provide paid training and will teach you the technical skills needed to work with pumps, hoses, piping systems, and equipment used in municipal, industrial, and construction projects throughout Central Ohio. Allied Technical Services is a family-owned company specializing in industrial and municipal pumping equipment, including installation, maintenance, and emergency response. Requirements
- Stable work history and strong attendance
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Willingness to learn, follow directions, and work safely
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, farming, landscaping, warehousing, military service, or general labor is a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up pumps, hoses, and temporary piping systems at job sites
- Load, unload, transport, inspect, and maintain equipment
- Learn to operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Travel to job sites and work safely outdoors around construction environments
