About The Position

SITECH Southeast Texas (SETX) is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and support construction technology and machine control systems in the field. This role combines heavy equipment knowledge, electrical troubleshooting, and construction technology to help customers get the most out of their equipment and jobsite technology. If you have hands-on experience with heavy equipment and electrical systems and enjoy solving technical problems in the field, this is a great opportunity to build your expertise in a growing area of the construction industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with heavy equipment systems and electrical systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and technical systems
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills and the ability to manage field service assignments and priorities
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and a “get it done” attitude
  • Team player who takes ownership and follows through on assignments
  • Naturally curious with a willingness to ask questions and fully understand technical issues
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solver who can evaluate challenges from multiple angles
  • Customer-focused and comfortable providing hands-on support in the field
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, products, and processes

Responsibilities

  • Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair machine control systems on heavy equipment
  • Use mechanical, electrical, and technical knowledge to diagnose equipment and technology issues
  • Provide field service and technical support directly at customer job sites
  • Diagnose system errors and technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Provide hands-on technical training and guidance to customers
  • Document service calls, repairs, and support activities accurately in company systems
  • Gather and communicate technical feedback to help improve products, services, and customer support
  • Work with internal teams and manufacturers to resolve technical issues
  • Assist with developing and maintaining service and support processes
  • Deliver professional, responsive customer service during field visits
