About The Position

Nightwing is seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer to join a dynamic and mature program. The qualified Field Engineer will support a diverse facility and technology requirements, and the ideal candidate must have a broad range of experience supporting fast paced, quick reaction program requirements . This is a full time OCONUS position.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with CI Poly. Must be willing to upgrade
• 4+ years relevant hands-on experience with two or more of the following: Instal lation and maint enance of diverse electrical or heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Install ation of wires , conduits and pipes to complete facility infrastructure
• Perform general and preventative maintenance on electrical or HVAC systems
• Adhere to set standards for all installations
• Inter pret cons truction documents , wire identification and tagging, bending long radius conduit
• Pre-startup maintenance on motors ; troubleshooting of control and lighting systems
• Experience working in a secure environment (SCIF) a nd understanding the regulations for maintaining accreditation
• Single-handedly lift and carry 45-pound systems and be capable of prolonged use of site equipment (e.g., hand tools, power tools, disintegrators, and degaussers)
• Familiarity with safety rules and first aid procedures
• Good communication skills and an ability to work closely with other disciplines
• Minimum commitment of 1 year at site
• High School or Technical School graduate and a minimum Journeyman license or possess a c ollege degree in engineering with the willingness to perform the hands-on work

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with building management systems; operating , monitoring and programming
• Crossed trained in multiple trades ( e lectrical , plumbing, structural, etc. )

Responsibilities

• Deploy to OCONUS site with the opportunity for rest and relaxation (R&R) every 3 - 4 months throughout the year
• Provide full-time o perations and m aintenance (O&M) support to Nightwing facilities while c oordinat ing with the campus O&M team for a wide r range of building needs
• Support mechanical and electrical systems recapitalization efforts, O&M, modifications, and status/metrics reporting
• Maintain as-built designs, ensuring all site changes are recorded and documented properly
• Analyze data from site monitoring system s to support expansion and improve efficiencies
