About The Position

Southern Cross has immediate openings for Entry-Level Field Technician (Gas Module Exchange) in Racine, WI and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the replacement of gas modules to include driving daily as required by assigned geographic areas. You will also be expected to process the required data accurately and meet all required completion dates. We will provide step-by-step training to ensure you are comfortable with the process and have a solid understanding of work expectations. Competitive Compensation: $21.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Must have a good driving record and hold a valid driver’s license.
Physically able to bend, squat and move heavy objects, use a pipe wrench/other hand tools, lift and reach overhead.
Technical aptitude and past/former technical training are a plus.
Computer or Smart Phone literate
Able to read maps and navigate congested areas in large cities.
Adept at using hand tools and equipment.

Protect, inspect, and maintain assigned equipment and vehicle.
