We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Field Technician! You will be a customer-facing role installing energy efficiency measures for industrial, small business, multifamily, and residential customers throughout New Mexico. This role covers work roughly split between the Albuquerque metro area and other parts of the state. You will meet with commercial and industrial business owners and operators, as well as multifamily and single family property owners, to conduct simple walkthrough assessments, identify eligible energy efficiency measures, and install energy efficient equipment.

Requirements

  • Experience in industries such as construction, landscaping, general labor, or other physical/hands-on work.
  • Comfort and experience using basic hand tools.
  • Customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or GED; this role is highly trainable, and prior industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Are at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult's minimum safety standard.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct simple walkthrough assessments of commercial, multifamily, and residential properties to identify eligible energy efficiency measures.
  • Install energy efficient equipment based on walkthrough findings, following program requirements.
  • Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements. Provide input and status updates to program staff.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications.
  • Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors, encouraging participation in the program and helping overcome barriers.
  • Work reliably and consistently, arriving on time and ready to go each day.
  • Work well as part of a team, while also being able to work independently as you grow more comfortable in the role.
