About The Position
This is a part-time, contract position with a contract duration from mid-September to mid-March annually. The part-time field technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment used in men's and women's home basketball games at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. This person will ensure equipment functions properly before, during, and after events and will be on-site for each men's and women's home basketball game. This person will be trained in Motion Rocket to download content and put together game presentations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows operating system
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of LED displays, Motion Rocket and/or audio-visual systems is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Responsibilities
- Operate LED displays, scoreboards and other related technology.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Attend any required trainings, meetings and client calls.
- Monitor displays and scoreboards during events to ensure real time performance.
- Install and organize new parts for signage and displays.
- Collaborates with various departments to meet client needs.
