About The Position

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is looking for a safety-focused Field Technician/ General Labor to join our dynamic team. This role involves hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck operation, assisting in job site setup and teardown, and performing all work as directed by a supervisor. The position requires a strong commitment to health and safety, adherence to company rules and regulations, and the ability to work varied hours, on-call, and travel as needed. Equipment maintenance and passing substance abuse screenings are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

• A driver's license and a clean driving record are strongly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic.
• Must be able to work varied hours and on an on-call basis and travel as required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters.
• Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms at elevated heights.
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority.
• Work with designated company representatives to learn and understand all safety, operational, and company rules, regulations, and responsibilities.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck operation.
• Assist in the setup and tear down of the job site.
• Perform all work as directed by the supervisor or leadership personnel.
• Ensure equipment and company property are maintained in proper condition.
• Use of respirators (including fit testing) may be required based on specific customer needs to meet project safety requirements.
• Follow and distinguish emergency signals and instructions.
• Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as respirators, safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
