About The Position

Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Field Technician, in our Phoenix, AZ location. This role involves a significant amount of field work, including maintenance on telecommunications towers, operating heavy machinery, and adhering to safety regulations. A portion of the time will also be dedicated to office duties such as uploading photos, interpreting drawings, and conducting project due diligence.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

1 year general construction experience preferred.
Some cell tower industry experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Travel up to a total of 2 weeks.
Operate heavy machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform maintenance on telecommunications towers.
Dig, bend, and climb inclines.
Provide superior customer service.
Ensure all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.).
Upload photos of work completed.
Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
Review peer work product.
