Field Technician for Water Filtration Equipment - 2 Hours Weekly
About The Position
NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a team of Field Technicians in Metairie & New Orleans, LA to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It’s straightforward work, it pays well, and you’re in charge of your own time. This is an independent contractor role with a consistent, scheduled route, not random job pickups. You will visit assigned stores to clean and disinfect the FreshPure machine, take meter readings, log data, snap photos of the machine condition, and report any damage or mechanical issues. This is not a repair job; your role is to keep things clean, documented, and reported.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions
- Attention to detail — you follow the checklist, every time
- You show up when you’re scheduled.

Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect the FreshPure machine inside and out
- Take meter readings and log the data on your service report
- Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit
- Submit your completed report to the home office when you’re done
- Call in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusual
