Requirements

Educational or professional background in construction inspection services
Experience evaluating soils, concrete, and asphalt, as they relate to site construction
Report writing skills
Computer skills
Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
High School Diploma
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

Experience in airfield pavement construction
Experience in landfill construction quality control/assurance
ACI Certifications

Responsibilities

Apply testing and inspection capabilities to a variety of projects
Evaluate soils, concrete, and asphalt, as they relate to site construction
Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials
Maintain required certifications
Coordinate with clients and Certerra/Insight Group engineering and professional staff
Travel to client facilities as needed
Perform report writing and utilize computer skills
Provide clear documentation of findings and results
Perform basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communication and submittal to the Project Manager
Communicate information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM
Assist higher level technicians on complex tasks
Maintain assigned equipment and related calibration
Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
