About The Position

Aloha Termite & Pest Control is hiring a Pest Control Technician / Field Technician to serve residential and commercial properties throughout Maui. The role involves identifying pest problems, inspecting structures, applying appropriate treatments, and delivering dependable customer service. It is an active, hands-on, independent position that includes managing a service route and caring for a company vehicle and equipment.

No prior experience or degree is required. The company provides paid, hands-on training and sponsors the required Hawaii HDAB 7C and 7B licenses. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with opportunities to advance and increase earning potential to $36 or more per hour as skills, licenses, experience, and performance develop.

The work is physically demanding and takes place outdoors in sun, wind, and rain, as well as in varied residential and commercial environments where pests may be encountered. The position is full-time, generally Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. Start times may be as early as 6:00 AM, and end times vary according to the route and workload.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work outdoors in sun, wind, and rain and in varied residential and commercial environments.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and pride in doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial properties throughout Maui and complete scheduled services.
• Inspect structures, identify signs of pest activity, and help determine the source of pest problems.
• Apply approved products, equipment, and treatment methods according to training, licensing, and safety requirements.
• Help prevent and control pest problems while following established safety procedures.
• Explain findings, communicate treatment recommendations, and provide professional customer service.
• Care for the company vehicle and equipment, maintain accurate service records, and represent Aloha Termite & Pest Control professionally.
