About The Position

PAPE’ MACHINERY, INC. – CONSTRUCTION & FORESTRY DIVISION – KENT, WA is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join their team. As our Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. You will travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, and interacting with customers.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations.
• Ensure equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime.
• Perform top-notch work on equipment.
• Interact with customers.
