About The Position

Heath Consultants Incorporated, established in 1933, is a leader in providing services and equipment to the natural gas and utility industry. The company is seeking a Gas Leak Survey Technician for an exciting outdoor role that includes paid training and requires no prior experience. This position is critical for protecting life, property, and supporting environmental safety by inspecting natural gas systems and conducting leak surveys. The technician will ensure compliance with federal and local regulations and make a real impact on the community. Daily tasks involve working outdoors, detecting leaks, completing reports, communicating with homeowners, and adhering to safety protocols. The role also requires operating specialized equipment to detect gas leaks, which is key to ensuring safety and preventing dangerous situations.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working outdoors in any weather
  • Ability to walk approximately 4 - 7 miles
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Passed DOT drug screen
  • Passed background check
