Field Technician/ Installer Level II
About The Position
TIAG is seeking a Field Technician/Installer at a Level II experience. The Technician should be able to demonstrate experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems. This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach. This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week. A Level II Technician handles more complex service requests, performs independent diagnoses, and is expected to provide support to Level I staff. This role requires a solid foundation of technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional certification.
- 2-4 years of proven experience as a Level I Technician or equivalent, with 2 core areas of expertise in (Lenel, AMAG,Bosch,Milestone,DMP etc)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance, US or Naturalized Citizenship is required.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various hardware and software issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of network configurations and protocols.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- US Citizenship is a requirement.

Responsibilities
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance according to schedule.
- Deliver Preventive Maintenance reports to Senior Technicians for review.
- Manage a defined queue of service tickets.
- Successful completion of corrective maintenance in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
- Develop and deliver training programs for all technical staff.
- Implement a new training curriculum and OJT for Level 1 technicians.
