About The Position

TIAG is seeking a Field Technician/Installer at a Level II experience. The Technician should be able to demonstrate experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems. This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach. This is a full-time position; 40 hours/week. A Level II Technician handles more complex service requests, performs independent diagnoses, and is expected to provide support to Level I staff. This role requires a solid foundation of technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional certification.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience as a Level I Technician or equivalent, with 2 core areas of expertise in (Lenel, AMAG,Bosch,Milestone,DMP etc)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance, US or Naturalized Citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of network configurations and protocols.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • US Citizenship is a requirement.

  • Prefer candidates with active passport and international travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance according to schedule.
  • Deliver Preventive Maintenance reports to Senior Technicians for review.
  • Manage a defined queue of service tickets.
  • Successful completion of corrective maintenance in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for all technical staff.
  • Implement a new training curriculum and OJT for Level 1 technicians.
