Requirements

  • High school diploma or a GED; a technical degree is preferred
  • 5+ years of general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience is highly preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results-oriented
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle
  • Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commissioning and Integration experience required
  • Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment
  • Ability to lead crews when the foreman is gone, and have DC/AC electrical skills
  • Ability to work on ladders, demonstrated manual dexterity
  • Must be adaptable to changing environments
  • Must be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours
  • Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively
  • Must be able to work out of the market or away from home as work demand requires

  • Mobile Access Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures.
  • Lead a Field Crew
  • Read and understand a customer detail plan
  • Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
  • Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations (OSHA, etc.)
  • Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD
  • Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications
  • Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work
  • Review peer work product
  • Update equipment office records and installation specifications to document accurately "as built"
  • Other duties as assigned
