JMT is seeking experienced utility designators and test hole crew chiefs to join their Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Raleigh, NC. Please note that immigration sponsorship or support is not available for this position, with the exception of candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.
Requirements
- Experience as a utility designator
- Experience as a test hole crew chief
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to locate subsurface utilities
- Mark utilities upon location
- Excavate utilities as needed
- Interpret roadway and utility construction plans and utility record drawings
- Record accurate and clear field notes
- Document assignments
- Collect data using survey equipment
- Perform calculations
