This position is for experienced utility designators to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in New Bern, North Carolina. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.
Requirements
- Experienced utility designators
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to locate subsurface utilities
- Mark utilities upon location
- Excavate utilities as needed
- Interpret roadway and utility construction plans and utility record drawings
- Record accurate and clear field notes
- Document assignments
- Collect data using survey equipment
- Perform calculations
