This specific position is for experienced utility designators to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Charleston, South Carolina. Please note that immigration sponsorship or support is not available for this position, with the exception of candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.
Requirements
- Experience as a utility designator
- Ability to operate equipment to locate subsurface utilities
- Ability to mark utilities upon location
- Ability to excavate utilities as needed
- Ability to interpret roadway and utility construction plans and utility record drawings
- Ability to record accurate and clear field notes
- Ability to document assignments
- Ability to collect data using survey equipment
- Ability to perform calculations
