This specific position is for an Entry Level Field Technician to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Virginia Beach, VA. The role offers the opportunity to learn Underground Utility Mapping (SUE) techniques and equipment, interpret plans, and grow a career as a Professional Mapper. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa candidates. The compensation for this role is between $18.00 and $21.00 per hour, which will be determined based on experience, education, and certifications. JMT acknowledges that applicant experience may vary, and the actual salary may differ from the estimate.

Requirements

Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
Valid Driver’s License Required
Able to pass Background Check
Able to work 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday (Minimum)
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to bend, kneel, lift and carry up to 75 lbs as needed
Team Attitude / Mindset
Ability to travel required
