Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience or exposure to installation, repair, or technical field-service work
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, and other environmental elements while performing field-based responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of routers, networking equipment, or telecommunications technologies
• Exposure to fiber installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently after training and follow established procedures
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently between customer locations
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying field environments
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with DC Power systems
• Generator maintenance or troubleshooting experience
• HVAC experience in a technical or field-service environment
• OTDR experience for fiber testing and diagnostics
• Telecommunications, networking, utility, or infrastructure field-service background
• Experience supporting customer locations across a geographic territory
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and repair documentation
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a technical environment

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair network equipment and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot network issues involving routers, fiber, and related technologies
• Respond to and resolve service trouble tickets in a timely manner
• Perform equipment and card replacements as required
• Conduct fiber testing and troubleshooting using OTDR equipment
• Travel between customer sites to support installation and repair activities
• Support preventative maintenance activities to ensure network reliability
• Participate in on-call and overtime support after completing training
