About The Position

MasterTech is seeking experienced Field 310J Trailer Technicians to join a dealership with excellent benefits and work perks. This role is ideal for experienced Trailer Technicians, contract technicians seeking a permanent position, or newly licensed technicians with a few years of experience. The position covers the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Brampton, Etobicoke, and Milton. Field/mobile technicians typically work from a single client site and rarely perform roadside assistance. Technicians have the flexibility to schedule their own day, making multiple stops or planning their schedule as needed, provided it aligns with operational requirements. The role offers variety in daily work, involving Dry Vans, Reefer Vans, Flat-Beds, Agriculture trailers, and specialty trailers such as live bottoms. The company guarantees 44 hours of work per week, with overtime pay for any additional hours worked.

Requirements

Valid 310J Trailer Technician license.
Experience as a Trailer Technician or contract technician.
Newly licensed technicians with a few years of experience are also considered.
Ability to schedule and manage daily stops within the GTA.
Familiarity with various trailer types (Dry Vans, Reefer Vans, Flat-Beds, Agriculture trailers, live bottoms).

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on various types of trailers including Dry Vans, Reefer Vans, Flat-Beds, Agriculture trailers, and specialty trailers (e.g., live bottoms).
Manage daily schedule to complete multiple stops within the GTA territory.
Work primarily from a client site, with rare instances of roadside assistance.
Utilize company-provided tools and equipment for repairs.
