About The Position

Sparus Holdings is seeking a Field Technician to join their team. This role involves working outdoors, often walking several miles per day, to detect natural gas leaks and ensure the safety of the community. Technicians will utilize modern tools and equipment for leak detection and data analysis, working independently after initial training. This is a full-time position with a set work schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma OR GED
• Valid, unexpired Driver's license
• Passion for Environmental Safety
• Tech Enthusiast (direct experience working with hands-on technology is a plus, including phone & computer)
• Problem Solving skills
• Superb Customer Service skills
• Communication Skills (ability to accurately relay findings and convey information)
• Attention to Detail
• Physical Stamina (endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely outdoors)
• Personal vehicle for daily work use

Responsibilities

• Detect natural gas leaks to protect the community and prevent harm.
• Accurately detect gas leaks and quickly analyze data using the latest safety equipment.
• Work independently, demonstrating time management and problem-solving skills.
• Perform tasks effectively and safely outdoors.
• Navigate natural gas incidents and implement proper solutions using company training.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service.
• Accurately relay findings and convey information.
• Be vigilant and stay focused while locating leaks.
• Walk several miles per day.
• Carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment.
• Bend, crouch, and kneel.

• Competitive Compensation: $18 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days.
