Requirements

Familiarity with hand and power tools.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, climb ladders, pull wire.
Valid Drivers License and the ability to be insured.
Must pass a standard background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in the Electronic Security Industry, Data/Network Cabling, or other related low voltage fields is preferred.
Able to read and interpret blueprints, architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents is preferred.
Electronic Security: 2 years (Preferred)
Existing industry-related certifications accepted.
Data/Network Cabling, or other related low voltage fields also excepted.
Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair alarm/intrusion and fire systems.
Install, troubleshoot and configure Access Control Systems.
Installing and repairing CCTV & IP based Camera Systems & NVR’s.
Readjust equipment, repair, or replace equipment and test for operation.
Ability to travel overnight for consecutive days as needed to repair, fix, install, and test equipment.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on systems.
Run and terminate low voltage cable.
Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions.
Respond to customer service calls and perform scheduled maintenance calls.
