Field Technician/Courier- Eurofins Environmental Testing Northeast - Middleboro, MA
About The Position
This role is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of environmental samples to and from the service center. Will pick up and drop off samples, deliver bottles for sampling. Responsible for visiting local businesses and residentials homes to collect drinking water samples for testing. Travels to collect multiple samples per day. Works and communicates with personnel. Disposes of samples and hazardous waste according to guidelines. Assists with custodial duties such as breaking down boxes, taking out trash, running errands, and other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills
- A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.
- Clean driving record to drive company vehicle.
- Ability to lift 50lbs. (samples are stored in coolers packed with ice)
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
