About The Position

This is a Hybrid Field Tech/HelpDesk Level 1 position supporting various Gentle Dentist practices in the Saint Louis, MO area. The role involves supporting and maintaining the end-user IT environment, including desktop operating systems and productivity software. The position requires travel to practices for on-site support and occasional travel when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to provide friendly, courteous, and quality support to clients via telephone, email, and web-based service requests. This role also involves maintaining equipment inventory and documenting processes and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
A+/Network certification
2 years in a technically inclined support position

Responsibilities

Support and maintain the end-user IT environment.
Provide practice-level support in the field, requiring occasional travel.
Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues using logical problem-solving skills.
Respond professionally to telephone calls, emails, and web-based service requests, providing friendly, courteous, and quality support.
Follow service tickets through to completion as a self-starter.
Maintain inventory of appropriate equipment.
Document updated processes and procedures.
