About The Position

The Field Technician (Detallista) position is responsible for assisting the Foreman on construction sites with repairs and general miscellaneous construction duties to ensure houses are completed to company standards. The role also involves assisting with warranty repairs and quality assurance as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate professionally with foremen and subcontractors.
• Capable of learning new techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean model homes, specs, and job sites.
• Perform all duties assigned by Foreman or Production Manager.
• Assist in basic carpentry, plumbing, drywall work, landscaping, painting, electrical, and other miscellaneous construction and assembling duties.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractors and enforcing good quality work.
• Repair, fix, and clean any pending details needed before final walkthrough and quality control inspection.
• Inform Foreman and/or Field Operation Manager of any issues or anomalies during the construction process.
• Assist with any warranty repairs as indicated by Warranty Specialist.
• Follow safety standards.
• Ensure job sites are secured and locked.
