Field Tech 1 (Instrument Operator)
About The Position
Schneider Geomatics is currently looking to add a Field Tech I (Instrument Operator) to our Development Services team. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: High school diploma or GED, required. Candidate should possess good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills to facilitate good relationships with clients and team members. High aptitude in mathematics and willingness to learn land surveying technology. Candidate should be self-disciplined. Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately as instructed. Position may require periodically working out of town. Good driving record and drug testing are required for this position. Ability to carry 50 lbs. and work outdoors in all environmental conditions. Occasional out of town travel may be required.

Responsibilities
- Take resource information and supervisor instructions to efficiently complete field surveying tasks assigned.
- Follow industry and company standards and procedures.
- Process and check field data.
- Document in field notes each project according to company standards.
- Provide responsible care for vehicles and equipment.
