TRC has an immediate opening for an experienced Field Team Leader with our Air Emission Testing Practice. This position will be based out of our Golden, CO office. The successful candidate will work with a talented staff to continue serving clients and growth in the surrounding area. Requirements

  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and physical
  • Good organization skills and driven
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • BS in related science or engineering field or equivalent work history, with a minimum of three years stack testing experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Federal Regulations (40 CFR parts 51, 60, 63, and 75) and EPA quality assurance and guidance documents
  • QI certification in Groups I and III
  • Willingness/ability to travel at least 75%

Nice To Haves

  • A current and valid passport is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in a science or engineering discipline preferred.
  • Previous experience leading teams in the field.
  • QI certification in Groups I, II, III.
  • Thorough understanding of EPA Methods 1-5, 6C, 7E, 10.
  • Experience with methods & scope specific to utility (Pt.75) customers.
  • Experience performing CEMS RATA's (40 CFR 60/75).
  • Current, valid US Passport.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete all required annual safety and credential training.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prepare projects
  • Coordinate on-site with clients and project execution
  • Lead project field teams
  • Perform air emission tests using Federal, State or Local stack test methods.
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation, equipment calibrations and repairs, prep and packing for future projects.
