Requirements

  • Prior claims experience
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Available to travel with limited notice to support customers needs
  • College/ University degree
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Intermediate level knowledge with some form of related training and/or related experience or skills
  • Industry accreditation and training generally required

Responsibilities

  • Completes tasks assigned by Claims Advisors to assist in the investigation, assessment and settlement of claims.
  • Operates in the field and interacts with vendors, insureds and witnesses.
  • Contributes to the legendary customer experience by collaborating with internal and external partners while valuing speed and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to be able to change activities based on customer and business needs.
  • Creates a legendary customer experience at every interaction and looks for ways to contribute to on-going improvement of the overall customer experience.
  • Prioritizes and manages own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.
  • Consistently exercises discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate.
  • Protects the interests of the organization – identifies and manages risks, and escalates non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary.
  • Contributes to business objectives for Operational Excellence.
  • Supports the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.
  • Ensures documentation that is prepared / completed is accurate and properly reflects client / business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules / regulations.
