About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking a methodical and skilled Field Support Software Engineer to provide critical software and data engineering support for the F-35 Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS) Supply Chain Management (SCM) application. In this role, you will act as a vital link between the Lockheed Martin customer and the BAE Systems software development team, ensuring that system performance is maintained, supported, and upgraded to meet global operational requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific field or its equivalent
3-5 years’ experience in Software Engineering or related engineering disciplines (i.e., field support engineering and/or military technical field experience)
Proven experience in System Fault Finding.
Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, and Python.
Experience in direct Customer Support.
Experience with Linux and Windows Administration.
Proficiency with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence).

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Cloud Native Architectures and containerized application development and deployment.
Experience with DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of XML, Web Logic, Java, and Network Support.
Experience supporting Enterprise Systems is highly beneficial.
