About The Position

Site Barricades, an AWP Safety company, is seeking a Field Surveyor to join their team. The company's mission is to provide the safest work zones in the industry for customers, employees, and the traveling public, aiming to be the best traffic control company in North Texas. This role involves visiting job sites, surveying work zones, confirming details with customers, and maintaining records of all job sites.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Some computer skills required
• Ability to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving
• May be required to lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds

• The employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position
• Variable hours of operation based on staffing needs and workload
• Majority of hours will be worked in a company assigned vehicle
• Some exposure to all weather conditions in combination with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

Responsibilities

• Receiving tasks through email and scheduling site visits
• Sorting and routing job sites
• Visiting job sites and surveying all possible work zones
• Confirming work zones with customers directly
• Keeping a comprehensive list of all job sites received and visited
• Communicating with Traffic Planners to work through issues and questions
