The Field Survey Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, implementing business strategy, and overseeing proposals, contracts, and project financial health. This role requires a strong understanding of land surveying practices, including federal, state, and local laws, as well as expertise in coordinate geometry, CAD, and survey calculations. The manager will also be responsible for preparing topographical maps and design surveys, managing and mentoring staff, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of survey work, including daily work diaries, construction layout, calculations, and cut sheets.
