About The Position

As a Field Support Technician, you’ll get hands-on experience while supporting essential low-voltage and network infrastructure projects across the country: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems, including Fiber Optics, Copper Cabling, Construction/Infrastructure components, and Telecommunications systems. Learn how to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Work with industry-standard tools and testing equipment. Build expertise in cabling, networking fundamentals, and system integration. Partner with experienced technicians who will help you develop your technical abilities. Deliver excellent service while representing Black Box at customer sites. Follow all safety protocols and industry standards on each project. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We’re looking for early-career talent with strong potential—not years of experience: Recent vocational/technical training OR strong interest in technology, electronics, or mechanical work. Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and installation techniques. Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and within a high-performing team. A positive attitude and motivation to build a long-term technical career.
