About The Position

We are searching for an experienced Field Support Technician I at our Alasconnect Fairbanks Office facility. Under the general direction of the Client Services Manager, this position provides a variety of virtual and on-premises client support including purchasing and building computers, installing and deinstalling network systems, and providing domain controller services.

Requirements

  • One year experience with Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Management, and Azure, a 2-year degree may be substituted for experience
  • One year experience in customer service
  • One-year experience in technical, analytical, or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and to identify colors.
  • Must be able to travel to and from worksites as needed, including in and outside of state.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell
  • Relevant professional certification

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, support, and assist clients with technology systems
  • Provide maintenance to new and existing technology systems
  • Provide clients with an exemplar customer service experience
  • Perform duties at the client’s work site
  • Provide call-center support to clients
  • Monitor, track, and manage company inventory and assets
  • Ensure employee workstations are fully operational at hire and during employment
  • Provide technical support for company and/or partner events
