About The Position

OneOncology's Field Operations team delivers onsite technology support to our practices, serving as the hands-and-eyes of the IT organization at the point of patient care. Field Support Technicians work in close partnership with the centralized Service Desk, End User Computing, and IT Operations teams to keep clinicians and staff productive. The Field Support Technician I is a foundational field role focused on basic onsite troubleshooting, hardware setup, and learning core IT processes. This role is typically present in larger practices reporting to a Field Manager. The ideal candidate brings curiosity, reliability, and a strong customer service orientation to every interaction with clinicians and staff. This is a full-time onsite role in Forth Worth, TX, supporting various clinic locations.

Requirements

  • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures, checklists, and documented standards.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes.
  • Time management and reliability.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 2 years of recent technical support or related experience.
  • Basic IT knowledge (coursework, bootcamp, or self-study).
  • Attendance is an essential job function.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and Windows endpoints.
  • College degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Healthcare related experience a plus.
  • A+ or similar entry-level certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic imaging and setup of devices under standard OneOncology processes.
  • Assist with simple hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Resolve low-complexity tickets with guidance from senior field technicians.
  • Maintain accurate ticket notes and documentation in ServiceNow.
  • Shadow senior technicians to learn field workflows and practice-specific systems.
  • Support asset receiving, tagging, and stockroom organization.
  • Assist with hardware onboarding and offboarding for practice users.
  • Travel to other practice sites as needed.
