About The Position

Supervise and coordinate all department activities, including customer relations, scheduling, employee relations budgeting, staffing, safety, and daily, monthly and yearly production goals. This position has direct reports. The work environment is outdoors, exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.). It involves heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily production/technical nature. Manual dexterity is sufficient to reach/handle items, works with fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime. Travel may or may not be required for this position. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card).
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Punctual and dependable person.
  • Ability to lead a team.

Nice To Haves

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with ISO standards.
  • Provide training to Amports associates.
  • Support company policies and procedures.
  • Assist Facility Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Meet daily with team leads.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Meet deadlines and objective goals.
